Soft Tissue with Airtight Adhesive
Still cutting a hole in drape from a roll?
The Soft Tissue drape by AHS is the first of it’s kind veterinary surgical drape to use adhesive to seal the non-sterile patient below on often bloody gut cases. Using the current ‘cut-your-own-hole’ thinking as nearly every veterinary surgeon was trained to do, our Soft Tissue drapes have a covered adhesive panel to cut. Better than a hole, when applied to the patient, the adhesive provides the airtight seal.

VetSx is our premium surgical drape material, uniquely engineered to achieve two results: (1) Fluid absorption across the complete surface of the drape’s top side and (2) completely impervious to fluid strikethrough via a laminated film barrier on the entire surface of the under (patient) side. No other drape in veterinary surgery combines these opposite and yet critical qualities.
If you’re using ‘surgical gown material’ for your patient drape, remember gowns are designed to ‘breathe.’ This means your drape is not impervious to fluids striking through. VetSx represents the next generation of veterinary surgical drapes — isn’t it time to upgrade your technique?
